Urgent appeal over missing pensioner

Police have issued an appeal to try and track down a well-known Blackpool man.

Dennis Bostock, once labelled Blackpool’s ‘human Womble’ has not been seen since June 2 when he left the accommodation he had been staying in.

Mr Bostock, 80, has previously appeared in television programmes such as Neighbours From Hell and A life Of Grime after filling his home in the resort with rubbish.

The vulnerable pensioner is described as being 5’6” tall and of unkempt appearance.

He was last seen wearing brown check suit jacket, a beige t-shirt, dark blue jogging bottoms, a dark blue coat and training shoes.

He may have been carrying two suitcases with him.

Police believe it is likely he has booked into a B&B in the Blackpool Central area. However they are concerned as he requires blood thinning medication.
