Two-vehicle smash shuts Amounderness Way
A major Fylde coast road was closed for a time on Sunday by what police described as a "serious collision".
Amounderness Way was shut between the Norcross and River Wyre roundabouts from around mid-afternoon on Sunday.
A police spokesman said two vehicles were involved and that occupants were being treated by North West Ambulance but no other details were immediately available.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
The road reopened around 4,30pm.
