Two men charged as part of major drugs operation in Blackpool

Two men wanted by police as part of a major operation investigating the supply and distribution of drugs in Blackpool have been charged.

Operation Enigma was a targeted campaign launched by police to disrupt alleged drug-dealing activity by a suspected organised crime group in the resort.

As part of the operation a search was launched to track down James Scott, 23, and Brandon Earle, 23.

Police have now confirmed the pair were arrested earlier this week.

Scott, of Heathfield Avenue, Fleetwood appeared at Blackpool Magistrates' Court yesterday (Wednesday, August 5).

Earle, of Regent Road, Blackpool, appeared at the same court today (Thursday, August 6).

Both were charged with conspiring to supply Class A drugs.
