Town centre cordoned off after woman is seen standing on multi-storey car park roof

The emergency services were called shortly to talk to the woman, believed to be in her 20s, shortly after 10am.

Police say they are ‘concerned for her safety’ and are currently talking to her. Paramedics are on standby.

A section of Dickson Road has been closed, and buses have been diverted, Blackpool Transport said.

Both the three and four services were unable to serve the northbound and southbound stops outside Wilko, a spokesman said.
