Three people charged after man slashed with 'knife' outside Fleetwood chippy

Three people have been charged after a man was rushed to hospital following an attack outside a chip shop in Fleetwood.

Police rushed to Lord Street following reports of a "disturbance" outside the Eating Plaice chippy at around 3.30pm on Saturday, October 3.

A 29-year-old man was found with a "slash wound" to the face - reportedly caused by a knife - and was rushed to hospital for treatment.

Officers have now confirmed three people were arrested and charged following the attack.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "Three people have been charged after a man was injured following an altercation in Fleetwood.

"They are all due to appear at Blackpool Magistrates' Court today (October 5)."

The three people who have been charged are:

- Steven Fuller, 42, of Balmoral Terrace, Fleetwood who has been charged with Section 18 wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.

- Michael Chambers, 25, of Windsor Terrace, Fleetwood who has been charged with Section 18 wounding.

- Helen Chambers, 52, of London Street, Fleetwood who has been charged with Section 18 wounding.
