Three men spotted 'acting suspiciously' in Thornton as residents told to 'be on their guard'

Residents have been urged to remain vigilant after a van and three men were seen acting suspiciously in Thornton.

The men ran off after being disturbed by a resident in Pheasants Wood Drive at around 3.50am today (Monday, March 15), police said.

Officers believe a van that was sighted in the area at the time of the incident may be connected to the three men.

"We're asking people to be on their guard after a van and three males were seen acting suspiciously in the area of Pheasants Wood," PC Mandy Clarke, of Lancashire Police, said.
