Two teenagers were arrested after a luxury car was stolen following a burglary in Bispham, say police.

Police launched a search after the Jaguar XF was reported stolen from a property in Maurice Grove just before 11.30pm on Tuesday, December 19.

A police spokesman said: "The owner phoned in the theft and within 10 minutes the car was sighted on Park Road heading south towards Blackpool.

"We conducted a a search of the area and found the car abandoned.

"Two teenagers were located nearby and were arrested.

"The owner came to collect his car and was very pleased with the outcome."

Two local teenagers were arrested on suspicion of unauthorised theft of a motor vehicle.

They remain in custody.
