Supply teacher accused of grooming teen girls
A teacher accused of grooming schoolgirls has made his first appearance at court.
Stephen Wiggans, a Lancashire supply teacher, is alleged to have sexually groomed two 14-year-old girls.
Wiggans, 46, formerly of The Sycamores, Blackpool Old Road, Poulton, now of no fixed address, is charged with grooming the girls in an attempt to meet them and engage in sexual activity with them.

Hide AdThe offences are alleged to have taken place in Poulton, between February 1 and March 14 this year.
Defence lawyer Steven Townley said Wiggans would not indicate pleas to the offences at this stage.
Wiggans was bailed to Preston Crown Court on October 29 by Blackpool magistrates. He must report to police once a week and not have unsupervised contact with any child under the age of 16.
