A St Annes man who was arrested and charged with committing a sexual assault on the town’s pier has pleaded not guilty.

41 year old Omar Hayes, of St David’s Road South, was arrested on the afternoon of Thursday, June 2.
He appeared at Blackpool magistrates court on Saturday, June 4, where he entered a not guilty plea.
The case was adjourned for a further case management hearing, which is due to take place at the magistrates court tomorrow, June 7.
