Sixteen-year-old boy stabbed in the buttocks in Blackpool last night

Police were called to the incident at around 10:20 pm, where they found the teenager with slash wounds on his buttocks and finger.
The 16 year old was rushed to hopsital, and his condition is currently unknown.

Hide AdA Lancashire Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Grosvenor Street, Blackpool, at approximately 10.20pm on Friday, July 22 after reports of an assault and public disorder.
"A 16-year-old male suffered slash wounds to his buttocks and to a finger, with him taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.
"Any information, please call 1-1, quoting log 1543 of July 22, 2022.”
This stabbing was one of many violent incidents reported to Blackpool Police last night.

Hide AdTaking to their Facebook account around midnight on Friday, Blackpool Police explained that a Disperal Order had been put in place in the Brunswick area of Blackpool due to a number of incidents.
These incidents, totalling at least four, all involved violence and disorder, including the stashing of weapons.
In their statement, Blackpool Police said: “Based upon at least 4 different incident logs tonight involving violence and disorder, some mention of weapons being stashed (potentially for further disorder) and this incident in which a 16 year old has been stabbed, a Section 34 Dispersal Order is authorised. The zone is the Brunswick Ward. Junction of Talbot Road and Devonshire Road, Down to the Junction of Talbot Road and Cookson Street. Junction of Cookson Street and Church Street. Junction of Church Street and Devonshire Road, Back up to the Junction of Devonshire Road and Talbot Road.”
The Disperal Order has now been removed from the area, with police confirming it was rescinded at 3 am this morning.

Hide AdAt 9:30 am, Blackpool Police added: “After extra resources were dedicated to the Brunswick area of Blackpool there was no further reports of Disorder. Due to this the Sec 34 Dispersal Order was rescinded at 03:00 this morning. As always thanks to the community for their suppport.”
