Abram of Enfield Road, Blackpool, stole a total of £786.47 of food at the Lytham and Garstang stores, most of it meat.

The court heard that Abram had only just come out of prison for similar offences back in September this year.

His lawyer Gary McAnulty said that Abram had a heroin habit which he knows needs addressing.

The magistrates’ court jailed Abram for 60 days.
