Police hunt for suspected burglary gang in Hambleton

A gang of suspected burglars (Tuesday, January 5) are being hunted down by police in the Fylde village of Hambleton this morning (January 5).

Police were called to the village at 4am after concerned residents reported seeing around five men prowling around the streets and snooping inside people's vehicles.

CCTV from homes in the area appears to show the men, who were wearing black clothes and hoods, trying to open the doors of cars and homes in Market Street, with the men also targeting homes in nearby Crookland Gardens, Arthur's Lane and Fairmont Drive.

Police began patrolling the area at around 4am and officers were still searching for the suspects at 10am.
