Leslie Atkinson, known as ‘Les’, 89, was last seen at his home address on Bright Street at around 11pm on Monday.

His family and friend haven’t heard from him since.

Sgt Nat Cox from Blackpool Police said: “We are especially worried for Mr Atkinson given his age and vulnerability. On top of that he isn’t dressed for the especially warm conditions and is in receipt of regular medication which he needs but we don’t believe he has in his possession. He may also appear to be confused.
