Police appeal for witnesses after Cleveleys crash

Police are appealing for information regarding the incident

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident, which happened at around 10.30am when a Ford Fiesta was in collision with the woman, who was on an electric bicycle at the mini roundabout junction with Luton Road.

The woman suffered serious head and leg injuries and is receiving treatment at Royal Preston Hospital.

Sgt Adam Dawson from Lancashire Police's Tactical Operations said: “We know that the area where this occurred was quite busy at the time and there will have been people who saw what happened but haven’t spoken to us yet.
