Police appeal after man and woman go missing
Police are appealing for information after a woman and a man went missing from Blackpool.
Debbie Oliver, 59, was last seen around 7.30am yesterday (Sunday, May 28) in Sunningdale Avenue.
She is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of slim build with shoulder-length blonde hair. It is believed she was wearing a navy blue and white checked coat at the time of her disappearance.
Jonathan Kelly, 51, of Station Road, was last seen at Blackpool Victoria Hospital in Whinney Heys Road around 10.45pm on Friday (May 26).
He is described as white, 5ft 10in tall, of large build with thinning hair and a beard. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a yellow t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes.
Following enquiries, detectives are exploring the possibility the pair could be together.
Det Chief Insp Becky Smith, of Blackpool Police, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of two people missing from the Blackpool area.
“Debbie’s disappearance is completely out of character and we want to find her as soon as possible.
“There is a possibility she could be with Jonathan Kelly and we want to find both urgently.
“I would appeal to either, if they see this appeal to come forward and contact officers.
“Anyone who has seen either missing person, or has information which may assist with our enquiries, is asked to contact police immediately.”
