Officer's grand marathon effort pays off for hospice

A Blackpool police officer raised more than £1,000 for a good cause on the Fylde coast through her  London Marathon efforts.

Sgt Kirstie Whyatt this week handed over £1,224.87 to staff at Trinity Hospice and Brian House .

Sgt Whyatt said: “ Thanks to everyone who supported me and the hospice.
