OAP faces child molesting charge
A pensioner accused of sexually molesting a schoolgirl in a sweet shop has made his first appearance at court.
Brian Glaister, 80, of Kimberley Avenue, South Shore, pleaded not guilty to two offences of sexually assaulting the 13-year-old girl.
The pensioner is said to have touched the teenager’s bottom and put his hand up her skirt. The offences are alleged to have taken place on October 23 last year at Blackpool.
Glaister was bailed to April 8 for trial by Blackpool magistrates.
He must not enter Highfield Road in the South Shore area and not have any unsupervised contact with children under 16.
