Mystery of items found in stolen car
The Volkswagen Tiguan was found abandoned on Clarendon Road, Blackpool, after being taken from the Derbyshire area on April 29.
The car had registration plates stolen from the Greater Manchester area on May 2

Hide AdLancashire police officers conducted a forensic examination of the vehicle and, during their search, found several items including jewellery, watches and a passport-sized photograph.
They would now like to hear from anyone who can identify the women in the photograph or who may recognise the items or know who they belong to.
They believe the items could have been stolen anywhere in Lancashire, Greater Manchester or Derbyshire
Detective Sergeant Neil Smith, of Blackpool Police, said: “We believe the items found in the car may have previously been stolen and we would like to reunite them with their rightful owners. They may well have a good deal of sentimental value.

Hide Ad“The car was stolen in Derbyshire and the registration plates stolen from Greater Manchester so the property could potentially have travelled quite a distance.
“We would urge everyone to have a good look at the photographs and to get in touch with us if they recognise anything.”
