Mercedes van driver is caught allegedly doing 101 mph on the M55 near Kirkham
A van driver has been reported for excess speeding after police allegedly caught the motorist doing 101mph on the M55.
The Mercedes Vito driver was stopped on the motorway yesterday near the Kirkham junction heading eastbound after officers from Lancs Road Police team had spotted the van.
Officers from the team tweeted an image of the van and said: "Driver reported for excess speed on the M55 out of B’pool. Speed recorded of 101mph. Please slow down".
