Medicine stolen from resort hotel

Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a theft from a Blackpool hotel.

The footage was released after a bag containing medical equipment was stolen from a guest.

The incident happened at around 1.15pm on Monday October 31.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “We got a report that a bag had been taken from the bar area of the Grand Metropole Hotel.

“It’s believed the theft happened at just before 11am.

“The bag belonged to a woman and contained both medical equipment and some medication.

“We believe the man in the CCTV can help us with our inquiries and we want to speak to him. Do you know who he is?”
