Man wanted by police after collection money is stolen from a Fleetwood church during Sunday Mass

The crime took place at St Mary’s Church on Lord Street and police want to speak to a man caught on CCTV in connection with the incident, which happened on Sunday, October 18.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “We would like to speak to the male in the attached images in connection with a theft that occurred at St. Mary’s Church on Lord St. on Sunday 18th October during Mass.

“The collection money was taken contained in pink envelopes.”

The man is described as white with dark-coloured receding hair and was wearing a blue and white check shirt, dark-coloured t-shirt and trousers and white trainers.
