Man punched and kicked in unprovoked shop attack in Blackpool

A man was punched and kicked in the face in an unprovoked attack in a shop in Blackpool, say police.

The attack happened at News and Booze off licence on Dickson Road, Blackpool at around 7.10pm on Wednesday February 28.

Police say a man who was inside the shop was punched and kicked in the face several times by another man, who was in the shop with a woman.

Officers would now like to speak to the people in the CCTV images in connection with this incident.

The man is described as a white male, around 25 years old, 6ft tall with medium length hair. He wore a black hooded jacket with a yellow badge on the left sleeve, khaki tracksuit bottoms and black Nike Airmax trainers. He spoke with a Liverpudlian accent.

A woman who was with the attacker, but did not take part in the assault, was also around 25 years old, around 5ft 3ins tall with dark hair and glasses. She wore a burgundy Mon Cler jacket.
