Man and woman arrested after police find huge haul of suspected stolen watches and jewels in Blackpool

Police entered the property yesterday (Thursday, March 5) following an investigation into a number of burglaries reported in Lytham and St Annes.

On February 25, a man was allegedly seen entering a property in Preston Road, Lytham, and committing a burglary before fleeing in a car.

Officers found more than 100 watches and a large quantity of jewellery, suspected to be stolen, at the house.

A 49-year-old man and 51-year-old woman, both from Blackpool, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently in custody.
