Liverpool man 'concerned in the supply of heroin' hands himself in after absconding from HMP Kirkham

A 32-year-old man from Liverpool was wanted by police after absconding from HMP Kirkham three months ago.

Steven Peter Flynn, 32, who also goes by the name Stephen, absconded from HMP Kirkham on November 5 last year (2019).

The 32-year-old was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court to 54 months in prison for being concerned in the supply of heroin in March 2018.

Lancashire Police have now confirmed that Flynn has handed himself in.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "You may remember that last month, we asked for your help to find Steven Flynn, 32, from Liverpool who we believe absconded from HMP Kirkham on November 5 last year.

"He has since handed himself into a police station.

"Thanks to everyone who shared our appeal."
