Karen Chung, 58, of Wansbeck Avenue, Fleetwood was also banned from the road for four years at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, April 5).
The court heard how Chung pulled over after being pursued by police in May last year but refused to provide a breath test.

Five months later, in October 2022, she was stopped for a second time by police while driving in Garstang.
In that incident officers became suspicious after they spotted her driving too slowly. She denied driving while unfit through drink but again refused to provide a breath specimen.
She admitted both offences when she appeared at court today, where District Judge Richard Thompson heard she had a previous conviction in 2020 for the same offence.

Chung was also handed a five month prison sentence but was spared jail time after her sentence was suspended for two years.
She was also ordered to complete a 120 day alcohol treatment programme and her car will be seized by police.
