Drug user relapsed and stole
Rachel Quigley used the tinfoil she usually had for smoking heroin to mask the bag she had taken from the security alarms.
Quigley, 33, of Withnell Road, South Shore, pleaded guilty to theft, going equipped for theft and breaching a conditional discharge for shoplifting.

Hide AdChrissie Hunt, prosecuting, said Quigley was seen on CCTV at TK Maxx putting an £80 Ralph Lauren handbag inside a sports bag she was carrying and walking out without paying on June 6 about 4.45pm.
Steven Townley, defending, said Quigley had recently moved to the resort from Burnley for a fresh start. She had been free of drugs for two years but unfortunately at the beginning of the year she had relapsed.
Mr Townley added: “She aims to become drug-free again. While she is not taking drugs she is offence-free.”
Quigley was sentenced to a 12-month community order with up to 30 days’ rehabilitation to be supervised by the Probation Service plus drug rehabilitation, and fined £20 with £85 and £85 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
