It was another busy week for Lancashire’s emergency services as police, fire and ambulance crews dealt with a number of serious incidents.

7. Lancs police officer on 'desk duty' after kicking suspect in head
A Lancashire Police officer remains under investigation after he was filmed kicking a drink driving suspect in the head.
The incident was captured on camera outside SPAR in Thwaites Road, Oswaldtwistle at around 12.30pm on March 8 and was later shared on social media.
In the video, the officer was filmed dragging the driver out of a Ford Focus and wrestling him to the floor. He is seen stamping on the man's back as another officer applied handcuffs.
He then kicks the suspect in the head and repeatedly slaps the man who was detained on the ground.
Lancashire Police said the officer was responding to reports of a drink driver.
The force said the officer has been removed from operational roles and remains on 'desk duty' while the incident is investigated by the Constabulary's professional standards department.
A police spokesperson said: "The officer remains under investigation and has been removed from public facing duties."
Police have charged a man with murder following a fatal stabbing in Colne.
Officers were called to New Market Street where paramedics were treating a man with a number of serious injuries at around 2.25pm on Sunday.
The man, 34-year-old Richard Chamberlain from Colne (pictured), sadly died a short time later.
A post-mortem examination established the cause of Richard's death was multiple stab wounds.
Frank Wrona, 44, of New Market Street, Colne, was arrested on suspicion of Richard's murder on Sunday.
He was later charged with murder following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "Richard's family continue to be supported by specialist officers and our thoughts are with them at this distressing time.
"We are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
"Anyone with information or footage which could assist our investigation is asked to email [email protected] or call 101, quoting log 640 of March 31, 2024."
9. Family pay tribute to grandad killed in e-bike crash
The family of a man who died after being hit by an e-bike in Burnley have paid a heartbreaking tribute.
A Sur-Ron e-bike collided with a pedestrian on Accrington Road shortly after 4.20pm on Friday, March 22.
The pedestrian, 86-year-old Bart O'Hare, was taken to hospital where he sadly later died.
Paying tribute to Bert, his family said: "Bart was such a kind and loveable dad, brother and grandad who has been taken away from family and friends in such a tragic manner.
"As a family we would like to thank all the emergency services involved for all their work.
"Bart you will be missed by so many, may you now rest in peace."
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an injury road traffic collision.
He was later released on bail while our enquiries continue.
