BREAKING: Woman, 61, arrested on suspicion of murder after body of another woman found in South Shore
The body of a woman was found in a bungalow in South Shore. Another woman has been arrested on suspicion of her murder.
Police were called to Clayton Crescent at 10.16pm on Wednesday, May 5th, following reports of a concern for safety.
A woman in her 50s was found unresponsive at the home, and was pronounced dead at the scene. A Home Office post mortem examination to establish a cause of death will be conducted in due course.
A 61-year-old woman, also of Clayton Crescent, was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.
Police remained on the street this morning. Neighbours said they were in the area 'all night'.
