A large-scale police investigation into an alleged child sex offences has continued with the appearance of three people in court yesterday.

Two of them were arrested when they tried to leave the UK on a Thailand-bound flight at Manchester Airport.
They are 75-year-old Derek Jessop, and his current wife, 39-year-old Thai Malee Kadram.
They previously appeared at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court where justices heard they were to subject of a ‘snowballing’ police inquiry into allegations dating back half a century.
Now the 63-year-old first wife of Jessop, Lesley Jessop of Brooklyn Avenue, Blackpool, has joined them in the dock.
Derek Jessop, of Regent Road, Blackpool, faces allegations of rape, attempted rape, and indecency charges and inciting children to commit sex acts.
Kadram, also of Regent Road, faces three charges of indecently assaulting boys.Lesley Jessop faces two allegations of indecent assault.
The cases will be heard at Preston Crown Court on February 14.
