Blackpool murder investigation update after man found dead in Talbot Road

Officers were called to reports of a 'sudden death' at an address on Talbot Road at around 5.15pm yesterday (Tuesday, June 9).

The body of a man, believed to be in his 20s, was found by paramedics and police when they arrived at the scene.

His death was initially treated a suspicious and a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.

However, police have confirmed a subsequent post-mortem examination has revealed the man died of natural causes and his death is no longer being treated as suspicious.

His family have been made aware.

The man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge and a file has been passed to HM Coroner.
