The offences are alleged to have taken between August 1 and October 17 this year.

The prosecution opposed an application for bail for Shelton by defence lawyer, David Charnley.

Shelton wept as he was bailed to November 23 for trial by Blackpool magistrates. He must live at his given address, keep a tagged curfew from 7pm to 6am and not contact the complainant or enter Kirkham.
