
Jordan Cockram had been banned from contacting his ex, who lives in Fleetwood, but on July 3 he called her saying merely “Hey baby.”
Cockram, a 23-year-old joinery firm worker, of Albyn Bank Road, Preston, pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order.
Martine Connah, prosecuting, told the court the defendant’s girlfriend said Cockram drank, used drugs and had gone to prison for assaulting her. Cockram was put in a one-year non-molestation order which banned him from contacting her.
On July 3 Cockram’s ex was at a meeting for victims’ of domestic violence when he called her. Cockram was fined £500 with £50 costs and ordered to pay a £180 court charge plus £50 victims’ surcharge by magistrates.
