The surgeries are held on the second Tuesday of every month at Lytham Library and every second Wednesday of every month at St Annes Library, both running from noon to 2pm.

Andrew Noble, who aids PCSOs in running the drop-ins, said: “I am so pleased to report that the surgeries are running successfully and that local residents are embracing these surgeries to engage with local police, especially in Lytham where there currently is no open police station.

“Thank you to all at Lytham and St Annes libraries for their continued valuable support.

“I urge local residents to continue using these drop in surgeries where advice, support and of course reassurance is on offer,”
