One of Blackpool’s most iconic and distinguishable properties is up for auction.
The Royal Pavilion that houses Crazy Scots Bar on Rigby Road is being offered through an online auction with a guide price of £410,000.
The property was listed by Blackpool Commercial estates agents Kendrick’s on October 13 and with it’s colourful exterior, history and prominence in South Shore, it has drawn a lot of attention.
The estate agents say it is a ‘rare opportunity to develop a substantial detached property.’
Although expired, the property did have outline planning permission for 15 residential apartments and five ground floor retail shops. It has a total area of 3,000 square feet on the ground floor.
The premises currently trade as the Crazy Scots Bar with a lower ground floor bar called The Sub and a former children’s play area with a three-bed bed self-contained apartment.
The bar closed announced it's closure after 27 years in November 2023 but re-opened again the following year.
The online auction ends on November 10 - if you are interest visit Kenrick’s Estate Agents.
