A 55-year-old man was found unresponsive in his Blackpool flat after not being seen for three days.
Andrew Siddall, who lived in supported accommodation in Dickson Road, had several health issues, including epilepsy and arthritis in the spine and on a prescription for methadone after being a heroin user.

On May 4, after he had not been seen since then, a representative of the supported accommodation entered his flat and found him unresponsive on a sofa and called paramedics, who could not revive him.
A post mortem examination carried out by Dr Muhammad Aslam found the main cause of death to be cardiorespiratory failure, brought on by bronchial pneumonia, along with combined toxicity of methadone and cocaine found at a toxicology test.
Blackpool and Fylde assistant coroner Andrew Cousins, sitting at Blackpool Town Hall, said that while cardiorespiratory failure and bronchial pneumonia were natural causes, the presence of the substances in Mr Siddall’s system precluded that as a short form conclusion.
Mr Cousins returned a narrative conclusion based on the circumstances of Mr Siddall’s death.
