Concern raised over rowdy youth issue

For the past 18 months, problems have been reported in and around the Marine Gardens where a large group of youngsters have been linked to spates of criminal damage.

At a meeting of the annual Town Meeting of Fleetwood Town Council, members of the public said there were still similar problems in the vicinity. One resident, who does not wish to be named, said a group now seemed to be congregating across the road from the Marine Gardens, at the rear of the Mount Pavilion.

Sgt Nat Cox, of Fleetwood Police, said officers were looking at a solution.
