Concern growing for missing Blackpool woman, 74, who has links to Fleetwood

An urgent appeal has been launched to help find a missing 74-year-old woman from Blackpool.

Carol Clayton went missing from her home address in Coleridge Road at around midday today (April 30).

The 74-year-old is described as 5ft 6in tall, of thin build, with ginger greying hair.

She was last seen wearing a lilac coloured coat.

"While we would normally release a photograph of a missing person on this occasion we do not have a suitable picture to release," a spokesman for Lancashire Police said.

"We would appeal for anyone who has any information or who sees Carol to get in touch."

Carol has links to Fleetwood as well as Blackpool

Anyone with information should call police on 999, quoting log 0513 of April 30.
