Comedy on menu at Blackpool entrepreneurs' lunch

There's more comedians than courses at this year's Lancashire Entrepreneur's Lunch.

One of the county’s top business networking lunches, there will be added laughs on the menu when the comedians take to the stage between courses.

Award-winning comics will be joining host Phil Walker (pictured) for the social event at Blackpool Pleasure Beach on March 4.

The Pleasure Beach has hosted the Lancashire Entrepreneurs Lunch for over a decade. Guests will have the chance to meet a wide range of suppliers from across Lancashire and create new business opportunities. Phil will be joined by Nick Page, Peter Brush, Allyson June Smith and Archie Kelly.

Phil is well connected on the comedy circuit, his act has taken him to some weird and wonderful places but his cutting edge comedy will have diners in stitches.

Nick Page got into comedy for a bet, he’s still not sure if he’s won.

His material is a surprising mixture of cynical observation and storytelling, drawing on his useless degree (International Politics and Far Eastern History) and inability to do a proper job (he was an estate agent but is mostly cured).

A relatively new comic, Peter Brush is storming his way across the UK comedy scene, most recently receiving four star reviews for his debut show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015.

Since 2000, Allyson June Smith has been tickling Canada’s comedy scene. A multiple Canadian Comedy Award nominee for Best Female Stand-Up, Allyson now has brought her craft to the UK.

Archie Kelly is better known as Kenny Senior in Phoenix Nights. Archie, along with Peter Kay and the rest of the cast, played to 15,000 people a night for two weeks at the Manchester Arena raising over £5m for Comic Relief.
