Child airlifted to Alder Hey after medical emergency in Poulton
A child has been airlifted to Alder Hey hospital after suffering a medical emergency in Poulton.
The air ambulance was called to Hardhorn Road in Poulton this morning (April 14) to attend to reports a child had suffered a "medical episode".
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called to Hardhorn Road, Poulton, to an incident where a child had suffered a medical episode.
"A number of resources were sent to the scene including an air ambulance, an ambulance vehicle and two rapid response vehicles.
"The patient was taken to Alder Hey hospital."
