Care home’s 50 jobs offer

Lakeview Rest Homes is looking for staff from the area for its four care homes following the roll-out of an investment and expansion programme by the company.

The group says it specialises in the provision of “five star” care for the elderly and the company’s investment in expansion of its flagship care home, The Moorings, is one of the major factors in the current recruitment drive.

The Moorings is a purpose-built care home, situated on the promenade at St Annes.

The £5m development comprises 29 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, in-house hair and beauty salon, occupational therapy programme, on-site restaurant and chef, as well as a 12-seater cinema. It is one of four homes owned by the Lytham company which include Lakeview, Newfield Lodge and Rosewood.

Lisa Reilly, manager at the Lakeview Rest Homes group, said: “As a family run business, we’re committed to the very highest standards of care, and recruiting the right people to deliver that commitment is a critical part of our expansion programme.”

She said the company was offering a wide range of opportunities at all levels, including carers, senior carers and deputy managers, across all four of its care homes.
