Businesses offered low carbon initiative

A New initiative to help Fylde firms save money on energy and reducing their carbon footprint is being launched tomorrow.

The Chamber Low Carbon programme is designed to offer free support in environmental and energy saving good practice and help financing low carbon technology adoption.

This will be be delivered via on-site support and a suite of masterclasses plus one to one bespoke support. The programme can also provide guidance to help bring low carbon innovations/ technology products to market.

Chamber Low Carbon is a partnership between the North and Western Lancashire and East Lancashire chambers of commerce with funding from the European Regional Development Fund.

The launch event will take place at the eco-friendly Brockholes Visitor centre just of the M61 south of Preston and starts at 12.30 with light lunch before presentations ending at 3pm.
