Brothers’ fury after vandals target cars
Adam, Craig and Paul Levin had their cars parked on the driveway of their family home on Clitheroe Road, St Annes, when they were targeted overnight.
The Mercedes E class, BMW One series and VW Scirocco, with a total value of more than £50,000, were ‘keyed’, having their panels severely scratched to remove paintwork.

Paul said: “It’s just devastating. You work hard and save up and treat yourself, and then this puts a dent in all that you’ve done.
“I don’t know if it’s just jealousy.”
The family has been quoted £550 apiece for the white VW and red BMW to be repainted, while the Mercedes is anticipated to cost close to £3,000 to repair.
Mother Lorraine, 54, said she was gutted to see the damage to the cars her sons, who all work as engineers, have worked hard to buy.

“It’s hundreds of pounds of damage. We don’t know if they’ve been directly targeted or it was just someone walking past.”
The incident happened on the in-and-out driveway of their home on Clitheroe Road, St Annes, some time between 6pm on January 4 and 9am the following day.
The vandals attacked just hours after the Scirocco was back on the road after being struck in a hit and run incident.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time should contact police on 101.”
