Boyfriend, 22, denies pregnant girl attack
A man accused of pushing his 26-weeks pregnant girlfriend to the floor breaking her collarbone has made his first appearance at court.
Peter McMahon, 22, of Woolman Road, South Shore, pleaded not guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm.
The offence is alleged to have taken place at an address in the resort’s St Chads Road on January 29. The bench agreed with defence lawyer Gerry Coyle’s application that the case could be heard in a magistrates’ court.
McMahon was bailed to May 10 for trial by Blackpool magistrates.
