Boy rescued by lifeboat
A 12-year-old boy has been rescued after getting stuck in mud off the coast of Fleetwood.
An emergency call was made at 1.55pm on Saturday and lifeboat crews from Fleetwood and Knott End were dispatched.
As the tide was coming in quickly, another boat from Cleveley’s was also sent.
The Coastguard said the boy was picked up and taken to hospital for checks, but was not believed to have been injured.
