Blackpool's LAPIS group staging its annual public confererence on ghosts, UFOs and other unexplained phenomena
Thse who have an interest in unexplained phenomena such as the paranormal, UFOs and folklore are in for a treat on the Fylde coast this month.
LAPIS (Lancashire’s Anomalous Phenomena Investigation Society) is staging its annual conference with some intriguing guest speakers.
The group is interested in a wide range of topics covering UFOs, folklore, cryptozoology, ghosts and hauntings, time slips, local history and anything else that is interesting and unexplained.
It holds informal meetings on the first Thursday of each month, at The Guards Club, 37E Whitegate Drive, Blackpool, starting at 8.30pm. Anyone who is curious is welcome to attend.
LAPIS’s conference attracts an interesting and varied range of guest speakers from across the country.
This year’s two-day event takes place at St Annes Ex-Servicemen’s Club, at 22 Alexandra Road, over the weekend of Saturday November 22 and Sunday November 23, when the doors open at 10am and the talk continues until 5pm on each day.
