Blackpool house blaze under investigation after two fire engines rush to scene

Two fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore rushed to tackle a house blaze in Crossland Road at around 1.53pm today (October 12).
Firefighters deployed four breathing apparatus, two hose reels, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the flames and clear the smoke.

Hide AdOne casualty suffering from suspected smoke inhalation was taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed crews are still in attendance and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
