Corporate Fundraiser Janet Atkins said: “Trinity is asking businesses big and small from across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre to get involved.

“The Corporate Challenge is a fantastic way strengthen teams, promote corporate social responsibility and develop new skills. But be warned – it is also a lot of fun.

“From black tie balls to cake sales; from tombolas to sponsored pub crawls – we have seen just about everything over the past three years.

“Let your imagination run riot. As long as it’s legal and decent you can use your £50 starter fund in any way you like.

“Last year several companies joined in with Trinity’s mass participation events such as Colour Splash – it all counts towards the total.”

The Challenge starts on June 1 and runs until September 30.

Once again, a generous sponsor has given Trinity the £50 float which each company gets to kick-start their fundraising.

That means every penny goes to the hospice to help fund patient care.

Only one company can be named Trinity’s Corporate Challenge Champion 2016. Last time it was Wareings of Wrea Green who took the coveted title.
