The courses, organised by Blackpool Better Start and run by parents, have taken place at Talbot and Brunswick Children’s Centre and Baines Children’s Centre and have been open to any families with children under four interested in learning practical parenting skills.

Merle Davies, director at the Blackpool Centre for Early Child Development, said: “We hope that these positive experiences will encourage more Blackpool parents to sign up for future courses.”
