Blackpool construction group's expansion

Adrian Tottey, (previously development director) has been appointed as deputy managing director of Create Construction.

Tottey who joined Create in 2011, has more than 15 years experience in the construction industry. During his five years with the company, he has managed the delivery of a number of large scale construction projects.

He is due to take on the full role of managing director of the group’s construction arm in January 2017.

Paul Mullaney, (previously development manager) has been appointed as Adrian Tottey’s successor, in the role of development director of Create Construction.

Mullaney who joined the firm in 2014, has a track record delivering large scale construction projects, including new build, refurbishment, conversion and fit out schemes.

Paul Mathison, managing director of the Create Group will still maintain a close involvement with Construction, whilst also overseeing the company’s other divisions, Homes, Developments and Interiors as well as the future strategy for the Create Group.

He said: “We are delighted to have promoted two of our own talented individuals into senior positions. These two appointments will allow me to focus on Create Group as a whole and, in particular, future developments, including a 221 bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel in Manchester and 131 bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel in Blackpool, both due to be on site before the end of this year.

“These are just a number of key projects we already have in the pipeline.”

Adrian Tottey said: “I am delighted to be starting on the path to becoming the managing director of Create Construction.
