The event raised more than £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and Sands, the national charity which supports those affected by stillbirth and neonatal death.

Stall holders included Fylde coast craftspeople and artists, students, schools and community groups selling everything from jewellery, beauty products to cards, decorations and books.

Visitors, numbering 600 plus, also enjoyed a series of workshops making samples and crafts to take away.

Youngsters visited Santa Claus and enjoyed face-painting and visits from Disney’s Anna and Elsa from the film Frozen. Laura Goodinson, from Blackpool Sixth, said: “It’s a fantastic community event that has students, staff and the community working together for wonderful causes. It has got better every year and this year we raised more than £1,100 for these two wonderful charities.”
